Yes...I am still shopping for winter coats. I purchased one from SimplyBe but it was way too short for my height, so I had to return it. In the mean time I needed to purchase a temporary winter coat until I found one I really like. Searching for winter coats made me realize how much I love parka coats or anorak, both are pretty much the same.. I purchased one from Walmart that I really liked but it still wasn't long enough, I'm like Goldie Locks I have to find a coat that's juuuuuust right.
I like parka/anorak coats because they aren't as heavy but still keeps you warm without all the added material. The hood and/or coat itself is lined in faux fur (sometimes). I personally do not like heavy coats so a parka or anorak fits nicely and keeps me warm. I also like my coats long to cover my butt (I have a big butt I cannot lie lol) so sometimes I may need to size up to get that coverage. Avenue had a sale and I bought another anorak coat, this time fleece. It has a longer back and I got a bigger size to cover my butt and so that layering wouldn't be an issue.

Faux leather sleeves, removable hoods, faux fur hoods, long, short, you have so many options. Same as a typical winter coat without all the heavy and puffiness. Plus majority of them can be tightened at the wait to give you a nice silhouette.
